Research projects at EBCL:
Foreign exploration for pathogens against the formosan subterranean termite, olive flies, soybean aphid and diamondback moth. We have also conducted statistical and laboratory evaluations of mycopathogens and mycopathogen formulations against grasshoppers, and developed a time-varying, temperature and humidity dependent model of fungal spore viability.
Areas of scientific interest:
The role of pathogens in termite and honeybee ecology; modeling as a tool for understanding pathogen virulence and viability, and for studying host-parasite interactions.
